This great radiating star is a stunning design. It's based on a 1911 poster for a medical exhibition advertisement. It features wonderful Art Nouveau stars, a dark blue background, and a really big eye with sunbeams radiating outward toward the stars, as if the eye were taking the place of the sun.

This radiating eye is an example of 1900s graphic at its best. Around the turn of the last century, people loved zodiac and astrology. It was mystic and romantic. That's when the basis for this design was created -- a mystical image, the eye radiating powers into the night sky.
