There is a unicorn at the front, a beautiful white unicorn, which has its horn pointed downward as it kneels. There is a medieval fountain between the unicorn and the huntsmen.
This is an excellent example of the kind of intricate tapestries woven in the Medieval days. They were hand-stitched decorative pieces, created with Wool warp with wool, silk, silver, and gilt wefts This tapestry of a unicorn was symbolic of Christ, commonly shown in Medieval artworks.
